The ethereal beauty of mist-clad mountains and pines evokes a longing for my celestial abode. In China, there’s a saying about becoming drunk on such splendor—it’s akin to a soul-stirring journey beyond the physical realm, an encounter with the sublime that transcends mere sight to touch the essence of our being. And at the same time, it paradoxically leads me to exclaim, “Sic transit gloria mundi.”
