在逾越節守夜禮中，我們唱這首著名的《逾越頌》來慶祝基督復活的奇蹟。 蠟燭的點燃和將復活蠟燭放進聖洗池再拿出來，帶有「水中生火」的強烈象徵意義，象徵著火可以從水中升起，也是復活的象徵：水代表死亡，火代表生命…耶穌死而復活，正如火從水中而生，是令人驚嘆而不可思議的事件。這是我們在復活節期慶祝的「奇蹟」，也是篆刻與七種不同書體的靈感。

On Easter Vigil, we sing the Exultet to celebrate Christ’s resurrection. During the liturgy, a symbolic representation of this miracle takes place when the Easter candle is immersed into the baptismal font and comes
out of it. Just as it is naturally impossible for fire to arise from water—water representing death, fire representing life—Jesus died and rose from the dead. This is the ‘miracle’ we celebrate during the Easter season. This
was the inspiration for me to carve this seal and write in 7 different calligraphic styles.
